Civilization fans have plenty to look forward to next week. Update 1.4.1 for Sid Meier’s Civilization VII is set to launch during the week of June 22, bringing one of the game’s most requested features: Hotseat Multiplayer.

The free update also delivers a major gameplay shake-up, including a completely revamped and highly randomized Archipelago map, reworked Government, Happiness, and Celebration systems, plus a host of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.

But that’s not all. Launching alongside the update is the first half of the paid Civilization VII: Brush & Blade Collection, which explores the rich histories of Korea and Japan through a blend of artistic achievement and legendary warfare. Part One introduces a new Leader, two unique Civilizations, new Wonders to build, and exclusive profile customization rewards.

Whether you’re returning for multiplayer mayhem or eager to expand your empire with fresh content, next week’s update looks set to be one of Civilization VII’s biggest yet.
