Cleopatra Entertainment has announced the release of Portraits of the Apocalypse on Digital Video and DVD, bringing the award-winning horror film and its cutting-edge special effects to home audiences.
Set in Buenos Aires, the film follows four ordinary people caught in the middle of a terrifying epidemic that turns the city into a nightmare. Told through the eyes of a journalist, a soldier, a mother, and a mysterious stranger, Portraits of the Apocalypse delivers a gripping look at survival when society falls apart and the dead take over the streets.
Directed by Nicanor Loreti, Fabián Forte, and Luca Castello, the film offers a fresh South American take on the zombie genre from three of Latin America’s most exciting genre filmmakers. Horror fans will also recognize When Evil Lurks stars Demián Salomón and Ezequiel Rodríguez, reunited on screen for the first time since the acclaimed Shudder and Netflix hit.
