Just days after launching into Early Access, Clockfall is already getting its first major update—and it’s clear developer Rever Games is listening.

The four-person indie studio is celebrating an impressive 94% Positive Steam rating while rolling out gameplay improvements, balance tweaks, and its first content roadmap based on player feedback.

Among the biggest changes are refined combat animations, tighter boss hitboxes, and updated enemy spawning to keep repeat runs feeling fresh without sacrificing the game’s tactical design. The team is also tackling progression, reducing the mid-game grind by making permanent meta-progression upgrades more accessible.

Looking ahead, players can expect a steady stream of new content, including biomes, enemy types, weapons, spells, and expanded skill tree options over the coming weeks.

“Seeing our game out in the wild is both exhilarating and humbling,” said John Pirson, CEO of Rever Games. “To sit at a 94% positive rating as a four-person team is a dream come true. But we aren’t just celebrating—we are acting.”

For Rever Games, Early Access isn’t just a launch milestone—it’s the start of a collaborative journey with the community, and today’s update is the first step toward making Clockfall even stronger.
