Experimental pop provocateur Cobrah has dropped her final single “Dog” ahead of her debut album Torn, releasing this Friday via Atlantic Records. The track, discussed with Zane Lowe on New Music Daily, balances guardedness with raw openness. Cobrah calls it a “fuck me” song—rough, graphic, and unfiltered—but beneath the gothic production lies a tender revelation: her desire for lasting love.
Torn is entirely written and creatively directed by Cobrah, blending her most vulnerable songwriting with provocative grandeur and high-impact production. Vocally, she explores a new melodic language, evolving from her signature sexy sing-speak to a sultrier, more emotionally exposed sound.
To celebrate the album, Cobrah embarks on a North American and European tour, hitting Treefort Fest in Boise, Coachella, London, Berlin, Paris, and more. Trusted collaborators like Isac Hördegård and Hannes Roovers return, alongside new partnerships with Illangelo, Machinedrum, and Tove Burman, elevating her debut into a bold, immersive statement.
