Her backstory, shaped by personal loss and a career in emergency response, makes her a beacon of hope in the game’s dark world.
Orela’s gameplay perks reflect her frontline instincts: Do No Harm speeds up healing based on how close teammates are to death, Duty of Care lets her shield others and boost their speed, and Rapid Response turns a swift locker exit into a tactical moment by exposing the Killer. She’s designed to shine under pressure, making her an invaluable ally when things get dire.
But Steady Pulse isn’t just about new gameplay — it’s about positive impact beyond the screen. Behaviour Interactive has partnered with Montreal’s CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation, channeling proceeds from Orela’s two Paramedic skins directly to support pediatric care. Available from May 6th to May 27th, these cosmetics don’t just look great — they give back. The campaign also promises a community-driven fundraising event, with more details to come soon.
Meanwhile, the Dead by Daylight team has given The Archives a spring cleaning. Now rebranded as The Rift, the system is more streamlined — players can progress multiple quests at once, making the grind smoother and more rewarding. The latest Rift, titled OVERGROWTH, debuts alongside floral-inspired outfits for characters like Haddie Kaur and The Nurse, bringing seasonal flair to the horror.
