As he gears up for the release of King Of The Mischievous South Vol. 2, Denzel Curry gives us one last sneak peek with “HOODLUMZ” featuring A$AP Rocky and PlayThatBoiZay. Last week, Denzel and PlayThatBoiZay brought the track to life on the BBC Radio 1 Rap Show with Kenny All-Star, live from London, with the song’s producer and UK heavyweight Kwes Darko.

Fans have been waiting for this collaboration between Rocky and Denzel, given their early career connections and the creative synergy that existed between A$AP Mob and Raider Klan before things went south. “HOODLUMZ” comes on the heels of “HOT ONE” with A$AP Ferg and Tia Corine, and “BLACK FLAG FREESTYLE” featuring That Mexican OT.

King Of The Mischievous South Vol. 2 is a sequel to the project that helped launch Curry’s career, revisiting the sound that put him on the map. The album pays homage to the rich musical traditions of the South—from Memphis to Houston to Curry’s own South Florida. It features a stellar lineup of Southern legends, both old and new, and artists influenced by the South’s musical legacy.

The project boasts appearances from former Raider Klan member Key Nyata, Memphis icons Juicy J and Project Pat, Texas’ Maxo Kream, That Mexican OT and Mike Dimes, North Carolina’s TiaCorine, Atlanta’s 2 Chainz and Kenny Mason, and South Florida’s Ski Mask The Slump God and PlayThatBoiZay, along with A$AP Ferg and A$AP Rocky.
