Dexter Morgan has a new problem. Actually, he has several.
Michael C. Hall is back as everyone’s favorite morally complicated vigilante in Season 2 of Dexter: Resurrection, and Paramount+ has given fans a first look at what’s coming.
The new season premieres October 30 exclusively on Paramount+.
This time around, Dexter finds himself caught between two very different killers. One is an infamous murderer with decades of experience. The other is a younger, unpredictable killer terrorizing New York in ways Dexter hasn’t seen before.
And then there’s Harrison.
Dexter’s son, played by Jack Alcott, continues his own pursuit of justice, putting the already complicated relationship between father and son under even more pressure. If Season 1 was about Dexter finding his way back into the game, Season 2 looks like it’s going to test just how long he can keep everything from falling apart.
There’s also a surprisingly relatable problem waiting for Dexter: a mid-life crisis. Because apparently being a vigilante serial killer isn’t stressful enough.
Who’s joining Dexter?
Hall returns alongside Uma Thurman, Jack Alcott, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Desmond Harrington and James Remar.
New additions include Dan Stevens, Bokeem Woodbine, Nona Parker Johnson and Brian Cox, while Krysten Ritter returns in a guest role and Gabriel Luna joins the season.
When does Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 premiere?
October 30, 2026, on Paramount+’s Premium Plan.
Haven’t caught up yet? Season 1 of Dexter: Resurrection is currently available to binge on Paramount+.
The bottom line: Dexter has new killers to worry about, Harrison is following his own path, and his personal life is getting messier by the minute. For longtime fans, Season 2 looks like another dark—and potentially very entertaining—chapter in Dexter Morgan’s story.
