Disclosure has dropped the perfect summer video for their hit single “She’s Gone, Dance On.” Stereogum calls it an “exuberant new four-on-the-floor heater.” Released in May, the track has received massive acclaim, kicking off an action-packed season for the multi-platinum-selling duo.
Directed by Vincent Catel (known for his work with Hermès and Dior), the video features the French dance collective La Horde (who have worked with Madonna, Sam Smith, and Spike Jonze). The video enhances the euphoric energy of Disclosure’s latest single, an epic house track where brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence sample an Ennio Morricone composition from the 1978 film Così Come Se. The sensually charged and surreal visuals capture friends partying in the stunning landscapes of Southern France, with free-flowing choreography and beautiful light and color effects. The video moves swiftly from day to night, leaving viewers both entranced and uplifted.
With support from DJs worldwide, including Todd Edwards, Joy Anonymous, salute, DJ Seinfeld, Peggy Gou, Sammy Virji, and Dom Dolla, “She’s Gone, Dance On” went viral after Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, and Ice Spice were seen dancing to it at Dom Dolla’s Coachella set. The single also featured in Billboard’s Friday Dance Music Guide, debuting at #16 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
Fresh off explosive headline slots at festivals like Primavera and Parklife, Disclosure wowed the crowd with a headline set at Glastonbury’s Other Stage, surprising fans with a performance of their triple-platinum lead single “Latch” featuring Sam Smith. The duo is now gearing up for shows at HARD Summer in Los Angeles, CRSSD in San Diego, Portola in San Francisco, and iii Points in Miami, bringing an all-new stage show with live instrumentation and a bigger, bolder audiovisual experience.
Breaking onto the scene in 2010, Disclosure’s 2013 debut album Settle topped charts, with its lead single “Latch” featuring Sam Smith recently surpassing 1 billion streams on Spotify. They’ve released three more studio albums (2015’s Caracal, 2020’s ENERGY, and 2023’s Alchemy), earning eight Grammy nominations, four BRIT Awards, and an Ivor Novello Award. The duo has headlined arenas and festivals worldwide, including selling out Madison Square Garden and performing at Coachella and Bonnaroo.
