Multi platinum-selling electronic rock band Pendulum released their new single ‘Colourfast’, out now via Virgin / Mushroom Group.
A long-awaited release among Pendulum’s vast legion of fans, the song has been previewed live at the band’s recent performances this year but this is the first time it has seen a full, official release. “Colourfast” is Pendulum’s most anthemic song of the year, driven by glimmering synths, thundering drum beats, and soaring vocals – returning to their signature drum and bass sound. The official video for ‘Colourfast’ is also available to watch now, featuring footage from the band’s performance at their sold-out Alexandra Palace earlier this year.
The track follows Pendulum’s previous “cathartic” single, ‘Halo’, which features Bullet For My Valentine lead singer Matt Tuck, that proved to be a resonating success around the world. It was added to just about every major rock and electronic editorial playlist, amassed a whopping 8 million global streams, and earned radio support from prestigious stations such as Full Metal Jackie and Sirius XM’s prestigious Octane #TestDrive show. Additionally, ‘Colourfast’ follows a string of landmark live shows for the band this year – including a triumphant performance at London’s Gunnersbury Park.
Pendulum have also recently announced their UK arena tour in March next year – it will be their biggest UK tour in over ten years with some of their most monumental shows to date. Tickets for the tour are available now for the six dates announced, beginning in Leeds on 24th March 2024 and culminating in a show at Glasgow’s Hydro at the end of the month, as well as a show at London’s O2 Arena, which stands as the pinnacle of their live career thus far. Watch this space for 2024 North American shows to be announced.
Pendulum’s status as a platinum-certified force is undeniable, boasting three chart-topping albums, including the iconic debut ‘Hold Your Colour’, alongside a UK #1 and #2 for ‘Immersion’ and ‘In Silico’. Emerging from Perth, Australia, their fusion of drum and bass with rock sensibilities has transcended borders, accumulating over a million albums sold in the UK alone.
As a live band, Pendulum are an unstoppable, award-winning act, selling out global arena tours and playing to thousands across main stage performances from Glastonbury, Download to Reading and Leeds and a recent co-headline show at London’s Gunnersbury Park alongside Limp Bizkit.
