New free cosmetics and a paid character pack bring fresh looks to the co-op horror hit.

The Backrooms just got a little stranger. Escape the Backrooms, the co-op horror sensation published by Secret Mode, has launched its new Lost & Found update, adding free cosmetics and a paid pack for players looking to change up their look while hunting for an escape.

All players can jump in with two new free cosmetics: Lost in Transit and Entity 67. For those who want more options, the paid Lost & Found Cosmetic Pack adds five additional looks: Remodelling Co. Employee, The Actor, Party Crasher, Misprint, and Black Knight.

The cosmetic pack is available now for $5.99 / £4.99 / €5.99.

For the uninitiated, Escape the Backrooms drops players into a nightmarish maze of liminal spaces, from the familiar yellow hallways to eerie pool rooms, creepy hotels, and unsettling birthday parties. You can explore solo or team up with up to three friends as you search for exits and try to survive the entities lurking around every corner.

With more than 30 environments, proximity voice chat, hidden levels, multiple endings, and a punishing Nightmare Mode where one death resets your run, there’s plenty of reason to keep coming back.

The new update offers another excuse to step back into the maze. Just remember: finding the exit is the hard part. Making it out alive is another story.
