Fans of virtual agriculture have a fresh reason to fire up their tractors, as Farming Simulator 26 officially arrives on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. Developed and published by GIANTS Software, the newest instalment expands the franchise with rewarding farming challenges, new maps, and deeper production systems designed for portable play.

One of the biggest additions is a challenge system tied to weekly and seasonal objectives. Players can earn rewards for completing everyday farm work such as sowing, cultivating, and harvesting fields. Beyond the farm itself, the game also encourages players to contribute to the wider economy by transporting crops like wheat to local mills so flour can be produced for nearby towns.

According to Boris Stefan, CSO of GIANTS Software, the goal was to create the most complete and relaxing mobile farming experience yet while giving players more meaningful progression.

The game features 15 crops, farm animals, production chains, baby animals, and more than 120 authentic machines from major manufacturers including John Deere, Fendt, New Holland, and Massey Ferguson. GPS-assisted vehicles and improved tutorials also make the experience more accessible for newcomers.

Players can explore both European and North American environments while hauling goods with heavy trucks and managing increasingly complex agricultural operations. The Nintendo Switch edition is available through the eShop, while iPhone, iPad, and Android versions are available.
