Nineteen-year-old Croydon native Feng is stepping into a new chapter with the announcement of his debut album, Weekend Rockstar, arriving Friday, February 13 via his own label, Regularisperfect. Leading the release is “J*b,” a restless anthem for clock-watchers everywhere — entirely written, produced, recorded, and mixed by Feng himself.
Driven by hypnotic, glitchy production, “J*b” captures the grind of weekday monotony and the urge to break free. “I’m clocking out at 5 p.m., why they think I want to stay?” he shrugs, delivering lines that feel equal parts burned out and ready to revolt. He’s working for rent, not a rung on the ladder.
The single follows “Cali Crazy,” an unfiltered glimpse into teenage ambition in Los Angeles. The track landed on Pitchfork’s Selects Playlist, with praise from NME and HYPEBEAST, further fueling Feng’s rapid ascent.
His rise shows no signs of slowing: he’ll make his U.S. festival debut at Rolling Loud in Orlando this May and recently topped The FADER’s “Artists to Watch in 2026.”
With Weekend Rockstar, Feng turns weekday frustration into technicolor escape — documenting a teenage life in motion, grounded in Croydon roots but aimed at something bigger.
