San Diego indie outfit Foxtide are offering one more glimpse into their evolving sound with the release of “Wait It Out,” the closing track from their forthcoming album. Tender yet quietly anthemic, the song leans into patience and emotional resilience, unfolding like a chapter that refuses to end abruptly. Instead, it lingers, allowing space for reflection and grace.

Set for release on April 17 via Position Music, Entropy marks a clear departure from the band’s earlier surf rock roots. The record embraces a more mature, textured approach, blending celestial, nostalgic synths with grounded, guitar driven arrangements and candid lyricism. The result is a sound that mirrors life’s unpredictability while holding onto moments of clarity.

Singer Elijah Gibbins-Croft describes “Wait It Out” as a message of endurance, whether directed inward or toward loved ones. It captures the quiet strength found in simply staying present through uncertainty.
