Jam-rock innovators Goose are turning up the heat with the release of “Torero,” the latest single from their upcoming sixth studio album, BIG MODERN!, arriving June 12 through No Coincidence Records. The cinematic track blends pulsing bass, reverberating drums, and shimmering synth textures into a tense, adrenaline-charged ride that feels both nostalgic and futuristic.

From the opening synthetic drone to the explosive closing guitar solo, “Torero” captures Goose at their most immersive. Frontman Rick Mitarotonda delivers razor-sharp riffs while keyboardist Peter Anspach layers sweeping synth melodies that push the song toward a cathartic chorus. The result is a bold, atmospheric anthem reflecting the chaos and overstimulation of modern life.

The release follows the buzz surrounding first single “Good2B,” praised by Rolling Stone as “a vintage Goose gem.” Fans were drawn deeper into the BIG MODERN! universe through cryptic marketing campaigns, mysterious Morse code messages, and appearances featuring actor Jake Lacy.

Goose will resume their 2026 tour this week at Viva El Gonzo, running May 7-9, before continuing the countdown toward one of the year’s most anticipated jam-rock releases. The album promises an expansive sonic journey exploring connection, identity, and information overload through richly layered production and emotionally charged songwriting for listeners.
