Hulu has officially announced Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair, a limited four-episode revival of the beloved sitcom, set to premiere on April 10, 2026. The series will stream on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for U.S. bundle subscribers, with Disney+ carrying it internationally.
A first-look preview released today teases the chaotic family dynamics fans remember—this time with a grown-up twist. The story finds Malcolm pulling himself and his daughter away from the family madness for more than a decade, only to be dragged back when Hal and Lois insist he attend their 40th anniversary party. Naturally, nothing goes as planned.
The revival reunites original cast members Bryan Cranston, Frankie Muniz, Jane Kaczmarek, Christopher Kennedy Masterson, Justin Berfield, and Emy Coligado, alongside new faces including Keeley Karsten as Malcolm’s daughter Leah and Vaughan Murrae as his youngest sibling, Kelly.
Created by Linwood Boomer, who returns as writer and executive producer, the series is produced by 20th Televisionand New Regency, with Ken Kwapis directing all four episodes.
