Shout! TV, the streaming arm of Shout! Studios (a Radial Entertainment company), is throwing down with a powerful new FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) channel: Hong Kong Fight Club. Launching August 1, this adrenaline-fueled channel pays homage to the groundbreaking Hong Kong action films of the 1980s and ’90s that shaped global cinema and continue to inspire audiences around the world.

Hong Kong Fight Club is a curated celebration of the era’s most iconic martial arts and crime thrillers—famed for their intricate choreography, explosive style, and emotional intensity. These are the films that laid the groundwork for everything from The Matrix and John Wick to the cinematic DNA of Quentin Tarantino.

Expect an all-star lineup featuring genre-defining works by legendary directors like John Woo and Tsui Hark, and electrifying performances by Chow Yun-fat, Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Tony Leung, Donnie Yen, Leslie Cheung, and many more. Highlights include Woo’s HARD BOILEDTHE KILLER, and the full BETTER TOMORROW trilogy, Ringo Lam’s CITY ON FIRE series, and Jet Li’s FIST OF LEGEND and TAI CHI MASTER—with plenty more high-octane gems to come.

You can catch the action starting August 1 on Shout! TV, the Shout! TV app, Plex, and Fawesome, with additional rollout on Roku (August 19) and the all-new Hong Kong Fight Club app throughout August.

This launch coincides with Shout! Studios’ broader celebration of Hong Kong cinema. The Hong Kong Cinema Classicshome entertainment collection will begin arriving in 4K digital and collector’s edition UHD™ and Blu-ray™ formats starting summer 2025. Meanwhile, the HONG KONG CINEMA CLASSICS retrospective series kicks off this August at Los Angeles’s American Cinematheque and New York’s IFC Center, before touring select cities through fall. These theatrical screenings, presented with GKIDS, feature stunning restorations of films like A CHINESE GHOST STORYPEKING OPERA BLUES, and BULLET IN THE HEAD.

From living rooms to big screens, Hong Kong Fight Club is ready to reintroduce the world to a golden age of action cinema—louder, bolder, and more explosive than ever.
