Today marks a bold new chapter in Final Fantasy XIV Online as Patch 7.3: The Promise of Tomorrow goes live, bringing a wealth of content to adventurers across Eorzea—and beyond.
At the heart of this major update lies the second entry in the Echoes of Vana’diel alliance raid series: San d’Oria: The Second Walk. Drawing from Final Fantasy XI, this continuation transports players deeper into nostalgic echoes of a beloved world. But that’s only the beginning.
Patch 7.3 introduces The Meso Terminal, a fresh dungeon experience, and The Wreath of Snakes (Unreal)—a reimagined level 100 trial where players will test their skill against Seiryu, one of the Four Lords. For treasure hunters, the new Vault Oneiron dungeon promises high-stakes adventure and glittering rewards.
PvP fans will find plenty to explore with Series 9 and a brand-new Crystalline Conflict arena: Bayside Battleground. The update also includes key action adjustments and new ranked tiers, ensuring both new and veteran competitors have fresh challenges to tackle.
Additional highlights include:
- New main scenario quests pushing the story ever forward
- Expanded Duty Support for Cutter’s Cry
- Quality-of-life updates, including Phoenix Down changes, Group Pose enhancements, and long-awaited chat bubbles
Looking ahead, the 7.3x series will continue to deliver. Patch 7.31 brings Cosmic Exploration to the new planet Phaenna, along with Phantom Weapon enhancement quests for crafters and gatherers. Then, Patch 7.35 promises even more: the Pilgrim’s Traverse Deep Dungeon, new Allied Society quests with the Yok Huy, and the return of comedic chaos with Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures.
With The Promise of Tomorrow, FFXIV invites players to look back with reverence and forward with hope. Whether you walk the royal halls of San d’Oria, descend into Vault Oneiron’s secrets, or face the trials of Seiryu, one thing is clear: Memory shines golden in the world of Eorzea.
Patch 7.3 is available now. Adventure awaits.
