History Books (Expanded Edition) features a fresh mix of The Gaslight Anthem’s celebrated 2023 comeback, along with a never-before-heard version of “Little Fires” with Bully (Alicia Bognanno). It also includes four tracks from this spring’s History Books – Short Stories EP: a powerful cover of Billie Eilish’s “Ocean Eyes,” a new take on fan favorite “Blue Jeans & White T-Shirts,” and acoustic versions of “Positive Charge” and “History Books.” Plus, there’s a limited 7” vinyl release of History Books – Short Stories out everywhere.

The Gaslight Anthem is taking History Books on an epic world tour. North American headline dates kick off July 26 at Denver, CO’s Mission Ballroom, wrapping up September 1 at Detroit, MI’s The Fillmore Detroit. Joyce Manor, The Dirty Nil (July 26-August 11), and Pinkshift (August 13-September 1) will provide support on select dates. The band will also join Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Trey Anastasio Band, Norah Jones, and others at the sold-out Sea.Hear.Now Festival in Asbury Park, NJ on September 15.

History Books is The Gaslight Anthem’s sixth full-length album and their first in nearly a decade. It includes singles like “Spider Bites,” “Autumn,” “Little Fires” (featuring PUP’s Stefan Babcock), “Positive Charge,” and the title track “History Books,” which features a duet with Bruce Springsteen.
