Lucky Daye is stepping into a bold new era.

The multi-GRAMMY-winning singer, songwriter, and producer has officially launched his partnership with Warner Records by dropping his brand-new single, “Nowhere Fast.” Produced by longtime collaborator D’Mile, the track strips things back with smooth basslines, hypnotic melodies, and an effortlessly cool vibe that proves sometimes less really is more.

Opening with the line, “Make ’em wait,” “Nowhere Fast” is all about slowing down in a world that never stops moving. Lucky says the song celebrates trusting your own journey, embracing patience, and staying focused on what truly matters—a refreshing message wrapped in sleek, seductive R&B.

The accompanying music video brings that vision to life with a striking basketball-inspired concept filmed in Los Angeles. Blending choreography, athleticism, and intimate moments, the visual reinforces the song’s central theme: the strongest moves are often the most intentional.

“Nowhere Fast” is Lucky’s first solo release since his acclaimed album Algorithm, which earned him his second GRAMMY Award thanks to the standout hit “That’s You.” Since then, he’s continued to dominate with collaborations alongside Chris Brown, Teyana Taylor, Tori Kelly, Alessia Cara, and Tank and the Bangas, while also delivering a memorable performance during Ms. Lauryn Hill’s tribute to D’Angelo at the 68th GRAMMY Awards.

From Painted to Candydrip, Table For Two, and Algorithm, Lucky Daye has cemented himself as one of modern R&B’s most exciting voices. With 13 GRAMMY nominations and a fearless approach to evolving his sound, “Nowhere Fast” signals that his next chapter is already off to a strong start—even if he’s taking it one intentional step at a time.
