The gentleman thief is back, but this time, someone else is stealing his name.

Omar Sy returns as Assane Diop in Lupin Part 4, arriving on Netflix October 23 with eight new episodes packed with elaborate heists, clever disguises and a mystery that hits dangerously close to home.

Picking up four years after the events of Part 3, the new season finds Assane behind bars and determined to leave his criminal alter ego behind. He wants to serve his sentence, reconnect with his family and keep a promise to his son. Unfortunately, someone has other plans.

A mysterious figure operating under the name “Lupin” announces a series of simultaneous museum robberies. Despite Assane’s imprisonment, the evidence points straight at him—including footage apparently showing him at the scene of a crime. With a police captain seriously injured, Assane must find a way out of prison and uncover the identity of the imposter.

This time, the challenge goes beyond clever disguises and perfectly timed escapes. The new adversary uses modern technology, including deepfakes and hacking, to manipulate the truth and turn Assane’s greatest strength into his biggest weakness.

Sy returns alongside familiar faces Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab and Shirine Boutella. Théo Christine joins the lineup as an older Raoul, while Omar Sy takes on a larger creative role as co-showrunner alongside Louis Leterrier.

Expect bigger action, more ambitious heists and a deeper look at the consequences of Assane’s double life. Beneath all the deception, his family remains the emotional heart of the story—and the reason he may never truly escape the Lupin identity.

With all eight episodes arriving together, Lupin Part 4 is ready for a weekend binge. The real question is whether Assane can outsmart an enemy who knows exactly how he thinks.

Watch Lupin Part 4 on Netflix starting October 23, 2026.
