Manchester-based EDM group LZ7 is back with a bang after the success of their 2023 EP, Human Vol. 1, which included the standout single “Same Line.” Today, they released the music video for their new single “Plan B,” a crucial track that touches on the personal topic of adoption, particularly close to leader Lindz West’s heart as he himself has adopted children. Despite the deep message, “Plan B” retains the infectious LZ7 sound that fans adore, promising to light up dance floors worldwide this summer.

When asked about the music video for their single “Plan B” Director Pete Wall  said “ Working together with Lindz, we really wanted to create something as heartfelt as the message behind the song. We realized that a simple, striking visual would do that best and let the music and story behind the song do the talking. Taking influence from a video for the Chainsmokers, directed by Rory Kramer, we used subtitles to tell the story of Lindz and his family, so you might have to watch the video twice. Once to catch the story and then again to see the visuals. We also threw some AI in there for a few shots, so keep an eye out for that!”

Following their US to UK collaboration “Monster” with rapper Stephen Malcolm, which elevated their live performances at headlining festival shows in the UK and Holland, LZ7 is on a roll. Their 2022 hit “Last Night” soared into the Top 10 on Upfront Club Charts with remixes from renowned DJs and producers. As fans eagerly await the release of Human EP Vol. 2 on August 25th, LZ7 continues their mission to create soul-stirring music with irresistible melodies and massive drops. Catch them live on their UK tour this summer, and stay tuned to their socials for more exciting releases. LZ7’s music remains grounded in relevance and honesty, drawn from their own experiences and reflecting their passion for uplifting young people. With their captivating tunes and anthems, LZ7 knows how to ignite a crowd, and as the world opens up, they’re already hitting the road, playing festivals and schools across the UK. Keep an eye out for LZ7’s future releases as they continue touring this summer, building up to the drop of the second part of their four-part album, HUMAN – HUMAN Vol. 2 on August 25th.
