Midwxst is back with his new mixtape, BACK IN ACTION 4.0. This fourth installment in his BACK IN ACTION series highlights his creative growth, blending his love for car culture with a drive for relentless progress and rising confidence. The mixtape features the already popular singles “E30,” “FIRE” featuring DC the Don, and “GUN SMOKE,” where the 21-year-old delivers powerful lyrics over intense instrumentals with booming 808s.
Talking about the mixtape, midwxst said, “It’s a perfect blend of loud 808s and confident lyrics that pay tribute to car culture and street racing. As a kid, I was obsessed with cars – from building them on ROBLOX to playing Need for Speed games until dawn – this obsession inspired my creative journey for this project. Like racing, which is all about pushing forward, BACK IN ACTION 4.0 will definitely make you want to hit the gas and never slow down, which I don’t plan to do anytime soon.”
Last September, midwxst, whose real name is Edgar Sarratt III, dropped his debut album E3. The album navigated themes of relationships, identity, and the internet, enlisting industry veterans and session musicians to create what he described as a “fairytale gone wrong,” painting a detailed picture of love in all its forms and changes.
