Paramount+ has officially announced that Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, the explosive eighth chapter of the legendary action franchise, will begin streaming on December 4 in the U.S. and Canada. The film picks up two months after Dead Reckoning, with Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and the IMF still racing to stop the Entity—an AI threat that has infiltrated global intelligence networks. As governments close in and old enemies resurface, the stakes skyrocket in what promises to be a monumental finale.

The star-studded cast includes Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, Henry Czerny, Holt McCallany, Janet McTeer, Nick Offerman, Hannah Waddingham and more. Praised by critics and Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, the film debuted on May 23 with the franchise’s biggest global opening to date. The Washington Post called it “genuine awe” and “sublime artistry,” while USA Today described it as a “death-defying, free-falling, edge-of-your-dang-seat sendoff.”

With its arrival on Paramount+, fans can now stream the entire Mission: Impossible saga in one place, joining other major action franchises like Gladiator and Top Gun. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie and produced by Tom Cruise, the film is rated PG-13 for intense action and brief language. International streaming dates will be announced soon.
