Marvel superheroes are heading to the candy aisle! M&M’S and Marvel are bringing their global collaboration to the U.S. this October with collectible candy packs, a limited-edition comic book, and a nationwide sweepstakes packed with fan-worthy prizes.
The timing couldn’t be better, with Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday set to hit theaters December 18.
Meet the Marvel M&M’S Mash-Ups
Seven limited-edition packs reimagine the familiar M&M’S Spokescandies as Marvel favorites, including Yellow as Wolverine, Red as Deadpool, Green as She-Hulk, and Purple as Elektra. Other mash-ups feature Blue as Daredevil, Brown as Yelena, and Orange as Red Guardian.
The collectible packs will arrive at retailers nationwide in October, with Milk Chocolate, Peanut, Minis, and Peanut Butter varieties available in multiple sizes. Looking for something a little more villainous? Walmart will carry an exclusive pack featuring Yellow dressed as Doctor Doom.
Scan, Enter, and Set Sail
Starting October 15, fans can scan the QR code on participating limited-edition packs or visit M&M’S Marvel for a chance to win prizes, including a Disney Cruise Line getaway.
A Crossover Worth Collecting
Candy isn’t the only thing getting the Marvel treatment. The brands are also teaming up for a custom crossover comic book, with just 10,000 physical copies planned. Fans will have opportunities to get their hands on this collectible at select events leading up to the film’s theatrical release.
