History’s most daring secrets step into the spotlight with The Gray House, a gripping new eight-episode limited series debuting on Prime Video on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
Starring Emmy winner Mary-Louise Parker and Emmy nominee Ben Vereen, The Gray House tells the extraordinary true story of four unsung women who helped shift the course of the American Civil War. At the heart of Confederate Richmond, a Virginia socialite, her formidable mother, a formerly enslaved ally, and the city’s most notorious courtesan transform their Underground Railroad efforts into a bold and highly effective espionage network. Risking their lives and freedom, these women operate behind enemy lines to protect the Union—and the future of American democracy.

The standout ensemble cast includes Daisy Head, Amethyst Davis, Paul Anderson, Ian Duff, Hannah James, Robert Knepper, Christopher McDonald, Colin Morgan, Rob Morrow, Colin O’Donoghue, Sam Trammell, and Keith David. The series is executive produced by Morgan Freeman and Kevin Costner and comes from Territory Pictures, Revelations Entertainment, and Big Dreams Entertainment.
Written by Leslie Greif, Darrell Fetty, and John Sayles, and directed by Academy Award nominee Roland Joffé, the series is elevated by original music from Lainey Wilson, Willie Nelson, Shania Twain, Killer Mike, Yolanda Adams, Jon Bon Jovi, and more.
All eight episodes of The Gray House premiere February 26, exclusively on Prime Video.
