Anime-and-retro culture publisher Top Hat Studios, Inc., and Brazilian developer Regular Studio have confirmed that MotorSlice will release on May 5th, 2026 across PC via Steam and GOG, PlayStation 5 and Xbox consoles. The game has already climbed into the top 150 most wishlisted titles on Steam, fueled by strong viral buzz over the past year.
Players take control of P, a “Slicer” tasked with infiltrating a towering megastructure packed with hostile machines. What begins as a routine mission quickly spirals into something far more unsettling when a mysterious entity emerges.
Movement and combat define the experience, blending fluid parkour traversal with high-stakes chainsaw combat. Players will scale massive mechanical bosses, solve physics-driven puzzles, and navigate stark brutalist environments. A malfunctioning Orb Drone companion adds intrigue to the journey.
Beyond the action, MotorSlice explores quieter slice-of-life moments reflecting on identity and routine. With a DnB and jungle soundtrack by Pizza Hotline and full voice acting by Kira Buckland, the game delivers style and substance in equal measure. Fans can also use selfie mode to capture stylish moments during intense runs.
