Summer Game Fest 2025 just got a jolt of adrenaline with the unveiling of ILL, a nightmarish action survival-horror title developed by Team Clout in collaboration with Atomic Heart creators Mundfish through their new initiative, Mundfish Powerhouse. This new trailer doesn’t just hint at horror — it drags you into the abyss, showcasing grotesque monsters, eerie environments, and gruesome gameplay that sets a bold tone for the genre.
ILL is Team Clout’s debut title and the first project under the Mundfish Powerhouse label — an ambitious new division created to fund and mentor daring indie teams. It’s not just a publishing branch; it’s a creative engine designed to help studios push boundaries with narrative, design, and tech.

Set within a massive, decaying research fort, ILL plunges players into an atmospheric nightmare steeped in body horror, realistic physics, and unsettling audio design. Built on a foundation of cinematic horror experience — including ties to IT: Welcome to Derry, Longlegs, and V/H/S — the game blends genre tradition with modern horror mechanics, making fear not just visual, but tactile and personal.
From a cutting-edge dismemberment system to binaural audio that lets you hear the agony behind every scream, ILL is built to haunt. You’ll battle against grotesque “Aberrations,” each exhibiting disturbingly lifelike behavior and responses. The environment plays an active role too — objects react believably, and puzzles require more than just logic. They demand nerves of steel.

Players must also manage weapons and supplies in a resource-scarce world. Your shotgun isn’t just a tool — it’s a liability if you don’t clean or upgrade it. Crafting and inventory choices will directly affect survival, making every encounter a strategic gamble.
Max Verehin, CEO of Team Clout and Game Director, thanked early fans and credited Mundfish Powerhouse for making ILL possible:
“Bringing ILL to life has been an incredible journey. Mundfish Powerhouse gave us the tools and support we needed to sustain our vision and make something truly uncompromising. This is just the beginning.”
Mundfish CEO Robert Bagratuni echoed the sentiment, positioning ILL as the perfect flagship for their new creative arm:
“Powerhouse exists to elevate studios with bold, risky ideas. ILL embodies everything we believe in — fearless, genre-pushing storytelling with an unrelenting creative edge.”
ILL promises not just to scare you — but to get under your skin. And if this new trailer is any indication, Team Clout and Mundfish Powerhouse are just getting started.
Stay tuned — and don’t look away. The horror is watching you.
