My Morning Jacket dropped their latest single, “Aren’t We One?”, a powerful anthem available now via ATO Records. The track, co-written by the band’s Jim James and Bo Koster alongside Manchester Orchestra’s Andy Hull, was produced by GRAMMY Award-winning producer Brendan O’Brien, known for his work with Bruce Springsteen and Pearl Jam.
In celebration of the release, My Morning Jacket has also announced a special two-night livestream event in partnership with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. Proceeds from the event will benefit HeadCount, a nonpartisan, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting voter registration and civic engagement through music.
The livestream, presented in association with nugs.net, will be broadcast from Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater on September 18 and 19. Fans can enjoy the show live or on-demand in pro-shot 4K or HD, with unlimited access to the performances until September 29. On-demand replays will be available for 48 hours after starting playback. Livestream tickets start at $19.99, with discounted bundles available for both nights. All net proceeds will go to HeadCount, furthering their mission to increase voter participation.
This announcement coincides with the ongoing Eye To Eye Tour, a co-headlining run featuring My Morning Jacket and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. Both bands are performing equal-length sets and alternating headlining slots throughout the tour. The Eye To Eye Tour continues through September, wrapping up at Raleigh, NC’s Coastal Credit Union Music Park on September 28. Full tour details and performance schedules are available at www.eyetoeyetour.com.
In addition to the tour, My Morning Jacket has a busy schedule of headline dates and festival appearances, including performances at Healing Appalachia in Lewisburg, WV (September 19-21) and Bourbon & Beyond in Louisville, KY (September 22). For complete details and ticket availability, please see www.mymorningjacket.com/events.
Looking ahead, My Morning Jacket has also confirmed the next edition of One Big Holiday, a three-night music vacation scheduled for April 3-5, 2025, at Seascape Resort in Miramar Beach, FL. The full lineup for the event will be announced soon.
On the environmental front, My Morning Jacket continues their partnership with the non-profit REVERB for the fourth consecutive year. Together, they are working to reduce the environmental impact of their tours while supporting climate action initiatives. Their sustainability program funds projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, addressing climate justice, and decarbonizing the music industry. For more, please visit reverb.org.
