Eclipse Glow Games electrified the Xbox Partner Preview today with a brand-new four-minute gameplay trailer for Tides of Annihilation, offering the most in-depth look yet at its spectral, high-velocity combat and sweeping world design. The studio also confirmed future support for Xbox Play Anywhere, giving players more freedom in how they dive into the adventure.
This latest showcase shifts the action from the ruins of London to the enigmatic Otherworld realm of Avalon, presented through a striking, reality-bending sequence. The trailer delivers the first detailed glimpse at the Dual Frontline Battle system and the Mirror Realm—a fractured dimension split across parallel reflections. Combat takes center stage as Gwendolyn teams up with the formidable Lamorak to take down Tyronoe, a shape-shifting boss that forces players to alternate between mirror realities while commanding two characters in one monumental encounter.
Lead Game Producer Kun Fu describes the project as a bold reimagining of Arthurian legend, blending courage, loyalty, and heroism with an eerie, dreamlike setting built to challenge and inspire players. “We are thrilled to share the next chapter of Gwendolyn’s journey, and this is only the beginning,” he said.
Tides of Annihilation is currently in development for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
