Offset’s “Jealousy” ft. Cardi B marks the first single from the GRAMMY®-nominated superstar’s forthcoming album, set to release via Motown Records. In this incendiary new track, hip hop’s first couple directly addresses recent internet speculation about their relationship, while sampling Three 6 Mafia’s “Jealous Ass Bitches.” The song was co-written by Offset and Cardi, alongside top-notch producers OZ (known for working with Drake and DJ Khaled), Boi-1da (associated with Drake and Nicki Minaj), and Jahaan Sweet (collaborating with Drake and Jon Batiste), who also produced the track.

The official music video for “Jealousy” pays tribute to the classic 2001 film “Baby Boy” and is filled with love and drama. Shot in Los Angeles, it features Offset, Cardi, and the award-winning actress Taraji P Henson (known for her roles in “Baby Boy” and “Empire”), as well as cameo appearances by all of Offset’s children. The video, produced and directed by Offset’s production company J3K Logistics, teases the vibe of the song and includes a creative touch inspired by James Brown’s infamous 1988 CNN interview, with Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis playing the role of the reporter. The “Jealousy” music video is a visual delight that complements the powerful emotions conveyed in the song and adds an extra layer of depth to this captivating track.

Preparing to launch this new era of his career, Offset spoke with reporters from Variety in a wide-ranging interview that delves into his forthcoming album, family life and forming Migos with childhood friends Quavo and Takeoff. “This is me going full-fledged into my solo career,” Offset told Variety. “I’m coming through, bustin’ through the door. It’s all set, my next chapter. It’s my time.”
