Ora the Molecule has shared another new remix of beloved Dance Therapy standout track “Løveskatt” by Brooklyn disco-revivalists Midnight Magic. The sleek and funky, horn-inflected interpretation provides yet another opportunity to exalt “Løveskatt” on the dancefloor upon which it thrives.

We knew we couldn’t ‘out-club’ the original so we decided to take it to another place and time–ours is for earlier in the night just before the bar is too busy and you lose your friends on the dance floor.”

-Midnight Magic

Nora Schjelderup, the creative mind behind Ora The Molecule, describes Dance Therapy as “written from a dark place, and a light place.” It’s her antidote to nihilism — a sonic release that urges us to let go of fear and self-judgment.

Created largely in solitude at her forest studio outside Oslo, Schjelderup wrote, recorded, and produced the album herself, with minimal collaboration. Drawing from her DJ experience, she imagined playing for a version of herself in the crowd, crafting music that could heal through rhythm.

Fusing late-’70s club energy and Italo-disco flair, Dance Therapy is both catharsis and exploration — a cosmic conversation with grief, mortality, and selfhood. Inspired by Mort Garson, Raffaella Carrà, and Annie Lennox, Schjelderup emerges as both Nora and Ora: human and interstellar, vulnerable and transcendent — a disco superhero born from loss and light.

Dance Therapy is out now on limited edition hand-numbered white vinyl, black vinyl, cassette and digitally. Purchase it HERE.
