The post-apocalyptic MMO shooter PIONER has officially entered its Open Beta on Steam, giving players a chance to explore the mysterious and dangerous Tartarus Island ahead of its full PC launch in late 2025. After a series of successful closed beta tests, GFA Games is opening the gates to all players for seven days of story-driven gameplay, raids, PvP, and more.
The beta offers around 30 hours of content, including the full story campaign (Acts I–V), large-scale PvE raids, a guided training raid, and the tactical Carnage Tournament card mini-game. Global quests, World Boss encounters, and PvP Deathmatches give players multiple ways to test their skills and earn rewards. Expanded questlines across the Rogue Wastelands and Murky Swamps also provide improved pacing, exploration, and loot.
The Open Beta runs until November 11, and players can request access on Steam to download and play immediately. PIONER is scheduled for a PC release later in 2025, with console versions coming at a later date.
