Capcom’s long-awaited sci-fi adventure Pragmata is finally stepping into the spotlight with its newly released “Eight Trailer,” unveiled on April 14, 2026. The latest look at the game follows protagonists Hugh and Diana as they navigate the eerie Lunar Research Station, encounter a mysterious child-like figure named Eight, and continue their mission to shut down a rogue AI before returning to Earth. Framed as both a story and gameplay overview, the trailer emphasizes the game’s emotional core while teasing its unique hacking-driven mechanics. The game is set to launch April 17, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.

At its core, Pragmata is a sci-fi action-adventure set on a desolate Moon base where a catastrophic lunar quake leaves an investigation team stranded. As systems fail and a hostile AI takes control, players assume the role of Hugh, working in tandem with Diana, a young android with advanced hacking abilities.

Gameplay revolves around this dual-character dynamic. Hugh handles traditional third-person shooting and exploration, while Diana manipulates systems, unlocks pathways, and disrupts enemies through fast-paced, puzzle-like hacking. This layered approach adds a strategic edge to combat encounters.

After years of teases and delays, the new trailer offers the clearest vision yet of Pragmata’s tone—blending isolation, mystery, and a surprisingly heartfelt connection between its characters.
