Prime Video has dropped the official trailer and key art for season two of its hit crime thriller Cross, and the stakes are higher than ever. Starring Aldis Hodge, who also serves as executive producer, the new season premieres February 11, 2026, streaming exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.
Based on characters created by James Patterson and helmed by creator and showrunner Ben Watkins, Cross follows Alex Cross, a brilliant Washington, D.C. homicide detective and forensic psychologist with a rare ability to think like the killers he hunts. The series proved a breakout success, drawing more than 40 million viewers globally within its first 20 days.
Season two launches with three episodes, followed by weekly releases through the finale on March 18, 2026. The story propels Cross into darker territory when billionaire business mogul Lance Durand (Matthew Lillard) seeks FBI protection after receiving a chilling death threat tied to the murder of a billionaire playboy. Cross teams up once again with FBI Agent Kayla Craig (Alona Tal) to uncover a killer who leaves behind disturbing clues, while John Sampson (Isaiah Mustafa) stumbles into an unexpected connection.
The expanding Cross universe introduces new cast members Matthew Lillard, Jeanine Mason, and Wes Chatham, joining returning favorites in a season poised to be the series’ most dangerous and gripping yet.
