Brian Tyler and DJ Furth have teamed up to direct the visually striking music video for “If I Fall.” The video features a bold, dynamic aesthetic, with red and blue laser themes mirroring the intense conflict between iconic Transformers characters Optimus Prime and Megatron. As Quavo, Ty Dolla $ign, and ARE WE DREAMING passionately deliver their verses, clips from the upcoming Transformers One movie play in the background, seamlessly integrating into the visual narrative. The video, with its pulsating drum solos from ARE WE DREAMING, captures both the emotional intensity and high energy of the track.

Speaking about the project, Tyler shared his excitement: “It was so dope getting to work with legends like Quavo and Ty Dolla, who both absolutely killed it. The video has this sick sci-fi vibe that totally pulls you into the Transformers world. The sets were insane—it felt like we were actually on Cybertron.”

Tyler, who also co-edited the video alongside Elizabeth Saltzman, reflected on the challenge of wearing multiple hats in the production. “Directing your own music video while also singing, playing the drums, editing, and handling the visual effects is pretty wild,” he said. “But being that involved in every part of the process has been both insane and incredibly rewarding.” He also revealed that this video is just the beginning for his upcoming audio-visual project, Are We Dreaming. “It’s the first of its kind for the project, and I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve been working on. It’s all about blending different genres, with a core focus on bass music and hip hop.”

Fans of both the Transformers universe and the artists involved are in for a treat with Transformers One, featuring a star-studded voice cast that includes Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm. The film hits theaters exclusively this Friday, September 20.
