Capcom is turning up the intensity with the launch of “LEON MUST DIE FOREVER,” a free minigame now available in Resident Evil Requiem. The new mode arrives after the game became the fastest-selling Resident Evil title ever, giving longtime fans another reason to return to Raccoon City.
Unlocked after completing the main story, the extra mode focuses entirely on nonstop combat starring legendary agent Leon S. Kennedy. Players revisit familiar locations, battle tougher enemy variants, and race against the clock across five escalating difficulty ranks. Defeating enemies fills an enhancement gauge that unlocks special enhancer abilities exclusive to the mode.
Replayability is a major focus because area progression and ability options change during every run, creating fresh challenges each time. Alongside the update, Capcom also released bug fixes for all platforms and added PC support for DualSense wireless controller adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, and motion sensor features.
Fans can also grab new “LEON MUST DIE FOREVER” merchandise on Amazon. Meanwhile, the first Resident Evil Requiem amiibo figures featuring Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy launch July 30.
Capcom promised additional Resident Evil Requiem updates later this year while celebrating the survival horror franchise’s highly anticipated thirtieth anniversary worldwide with fans.
