Chet Faker returns with “Over You,” a hypnotic new single that captures the quiet unraveling of a love that was never meant to last. Built on a bittersweet breakbeat and his signature aching vocals, the track drifts through memory and missed exits, lingering on the question of “where the time went so fast.” It’s nostalgic, intimate, and emotionally suspended — like flipping through moments you know you can’t relive.

The song previews his upcoming album A Love For Strangers, arriving digitally February 13 and physically April 24 via BMG. The record marks a renewed chapter for Nick Murphy, reconnecting with the restless creative spirit that first defined Chet Faker. “Over You” follows recent releases including the vulnerable “Can You Swim?,” the reflective “This Time for Real,” the heartfelt “Inefficient Love,” and the cinematic lead single “Far Side of the Moon,” each revealing a different emotional shade of the album’s world.

Chet Faker launches a monthlong North American tour April 30 in Los Angeles, wrapping May 30 in New York City.
