Richard Ashcroft releases his long-awaited new album Lovin’ You today, marking the seventh solo chapter from The Verve’s legendary frontman. After a summer of euphoric stadium shows as special guest to Oasis, Ashcroft’s resurgence has sparked phenomenal demand for his 2025 headline tour — with sold-out dates including a massive 20,000-capacity night at London’s O2 Arena.
Lovin’ You, his first album since 2018’s Natural Rebel, glides between lush balladry, indie-rock anthems, Americana warmth, and even disco flair with the falsetto-led “I’m A Rebel,” produced by Mirwais.
