Rockstar Games releases the DāM-FunK Presents The Music of Grand Theft Auto Online Original Score, an album that finds the iconic Los Angeles artist putting his signature funk spin on some of the landmark music that has been featured across the score of Grand Theft Auto Online over the years.

The album finds him reimagining tracks from HEALTH (who composed the soundtrack for Rockstar’s Max Payne 3 as well as contributing to the Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online soundtracks), Soulwax, Show Me The Body, Take A Daytrip, Holy Fuck, Rampa and &ME (of Keinemusik), Oh No, Nick Hook and James Curd, in addition to a number of songs originally produced by DāM himself.

Speaking about the album and his continued work with Rockstar Games, DāM shares:

“With this new project I am reimagining songs that have been featured in Grand Theft Auto Online over the years and it has been so inspiring to work with different styles of music and trying different mixes. It has been a pleasure to work with Rockstar Games, from doing a song with E-40 and Ariel Pink for Welcome to Los Santos to having the instrumental version of my song “Hood Pass Intact” featured, and working on the score for The Contract update for Grand Theft Auto Online featuring Dr. Dre. I’m celebrating 10 years of fun with Grand Theft Auto!”

The instrumental album showcases the storied LA producer’s unique funk and boogie-informed musical outlook and continues his ongoing relationship with Rockstar Games on the heels of his contributions to Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online soundtracks. In addition to the album’s forthcoming release on all streaming platforms on December 15th, it will also be available in Grand Theft Auto Online as a collectible USB that will unlock a special DJ mix of the album when found in-game, starting on the 18th. Past USBs that have been discoverable in-game have featured music from the likes of Dr. Dre, Moodyman, NEZ, and CircoLoco.
