Rising star Samantha Richelle leads the talented cast of the hit Amazon’s Freevee TV Series “Almost Paradise,” with season 2 streaming now as police detective Kai Mendoza, one of the main protagonists in the Dean Devlin (“Independence Day,” “Stargate”) produced series. While many know her from “Almost Paradise,” her journey in the industry is illuminated by other noteworthy performances, including her roles in the series “Syd” and the TV film “PNP Pacer 2: Crime Does Not Pay.”

Created by Dean Devlin and Gary Rosen, the drama follows Alex Walker (Christian Kane), a former U.S. DEA agent who, after his partner’s betrayal and a life-threatening battle with hypertension, is forced into early retirement and relocates to a small tropical island in the Philippines. Kane is Alex Walker, a former U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agent forced into early retirement.

Beyond her acting prowess, she has remarkable talent in fashion design. After attending the prestigious FIDM in Los Angeles, she successfully established her own streetwear clothing line, launching her collection in 2017. In 2019, Richelle rebranded and introduced a new collection, “Samantha Richelle Collection One,” featuring oversized unisex pieces available in sizes suitable for both women and men.

Richelle promises to captivate audiences and redefine the narrative of Filipino representation in the entertainment industry. In addition to her work on “Almost Paradise,” Samantha’s short film, The Cassandra Project, is comprised of three short films, with the first one, Busy Body, already completed after being shot in New York City.
