Scott Collins, a towering and formidable figure in the Nashville rock & roll scene, boasts an origin story that dates back to the genre’s early days in the city. There’s even a rumor floating around that he might be a vampire. After spending years playing a pivotal role in two of Nashville’s most notorious bands—partnering with his wife Kim in the dynamic rock duo The Smoking Flowers and delivering electrifying guitar performances with Justin & The Cosmics—Scott has finally embarked on a solo project. With this long-anticipated venture, he’s firmly staking his claim in the music world, carving out a space that’s uniquely his own.

His debut solo album, Purple Pain, is now out on vinyl, CD, and digital download. He recently dropped two live videos for his new singles “Shittin’ Tears” and “Love You More,” featuring Scott Collins and his band, The Slutz.
