Soulwax have returned with “Perfect We Are Not,” a powerful new single born inside the legendary Abbey Road Studios. Premiered on Nick Grimshaw’s BBC 6 Music Breakfast Show, the track captures a moment of raw creativity during the band’s ambitious Abbey Road After Hours project.

Taking over the iconic London studio, Soulwax transformed its three rooms into one fluid creative playground. Moving between Studio One, Two, and Three, they wrote and recorded with their full live band, including three drummers, embracing spontaneity and scale.

The track was recorded using Abbey Road’s renowned analogue gear, pressed directly to vinyl, and debuted during a special 2manydjs set. Its first play ignited an immediate crowd reaction, hinting at its undeniable dancefloor power.

Now released officially, “Perfect We Are Not” carries that urgency forward with driving rhythms and a rich, physical sound. The single also arrives as a limited edition 12-inch via DEEWEE.

Following their recent album All Systems Are Lying, the release sets the stage for a busy summer of live performances. Known for electrifying shows, Soulwax continue to blur the line between club culture and live music, delivering immersive experiences defined by precision, volume, and movement. Fans should stay tuned for updates across their channels.

As anticipation builds, “Perfect We Are Not” signals another bold chapter in their ever-evolving sonic journey and creative ambition worldwide today.
