Celebrating 20 years of music and community, The Lumineers have partnered with GOAL Projects, the creative studio from global soccer brand GOAL, to launch a limited-edition soccer jersey in support of Soccer Without Borders (SWB) Colorado.
The collaboration — part of GOAL Projects’ series with Common Goal, pairing musicians with hometown teams — honors the West Aurora Girls Soccer Team, made up of refugee and immigrant players from 13 countries across Aurora, Colorado. The team, who won SWB’s Denver Global Goal 5 league last year, will proudly wear the new Lumineers jersey throughout the 2025–26 season.

Designed with care and symbolism, the jersey features album-inspired artwork, a custom Lumineers crest, the band’s “eye & vine” motif, and lyrics from Sleep On The Floor. The number “05” marks the band’s founding year.
Proceeds from sales will directly support SWB programs, covering league fees, transportation, equipment, and coaching, ensuring soccer remains free and inclusive for every player.
“Aurora West’s story of new beginnings resonates so deeply with us,” said frontman Wesley Schultz. “We want to celebrate their grit and support their dreams, on the field and beyond.”
SWB Colorado Director Matt Kaiser called the collaboration “a bridge through our language of soccer,” while head coach Erin Crossley praised the players’ growth in confidence and leadership.
Following a surprise delivery of autographed jerseys and new kits from the band, the partnership underscores The Lumineers’ ongoing commitment to social impact — proving once again that music and sport share the power to unite, uplift, and inspire.
The Lumineers x GOAL Projects jersey is available now at goalprojects.goal.com.
