Mario fans can officially add another adventure to their home entertainment collections.
Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has released The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (2026) on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray, bringing the Mushroom Kingdom’s latest big-screen adventure home after its theatrical run.
The animated sequel reunites the creative team behind 2023’s The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which earned more than $1.3 billion worldwide. Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, the film features returning voice stars Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, and Keegan-Michael Key.
Produced by Illumination’s Chris Meledandri and Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie expands the franchise into a cosmic adventure packed with familiar characters, new worlds, and plenty of Nintendo nostalgia.
The 4K Blu-ray edition arrives with Dolby Vision HDR and a Dolby Atmos audio track, alongside an extensive collection of bonus features. Highlights include the making-of documentary Next Level: Making The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, character spotlights, behind-the-scenes looks at the film’s galactic settings, an exploration of its hidden Easter eggs, and a feature on composer Brian Tyler’s cinematic take on the iconic Mario soundtrack.
For fans looking to relive the adventure—or discover every hidden secret they may have missed in theaters—the new home video release offers plenty of reasons to jump back into Mario’s latest journey.
