Amazon MGM Studios has unveiled an exciting slate of new cast members for its upcoming Tomb Raider series on Prime Video, further building anticipation for the iconic franchise’s television debut. Joining the previously announced Sophie Turner as Lara Croft are Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, Celia Imrie, Bill Paterson, and an ensemble of acclaimed talent.
The series, based on the legendary Tomb Raider video game franchise, follows the globe-trotting adventures of archaeologist and adventurer Lara Croft. Turner, a longtime fan of the character, describes Lara as “a fierce female role model” who stands strong in a male-dominated world.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag) leads the project as creator, writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner alongside Chad Hodge. She shared her excitement about bringing beloved characters—and a few new “rascals”—to the screen, calling the cast “beyond my wildest dreams.”
Canon roles from the games include Jason Isaacs as Lara’s uncle Atlas DeMornay, Bill Paterson as the Croft family butler Winston, and Martin Bobb-Semple as tech-savvy ally Zip. New characters include Weaver as the enigmatic Evelyn Wallis and Celia Imrie as a champagne-loving British Museum executive.
With bold storytelling and a powerhouse cast, Tomb Raider is poised to deliver an exhilarating new chapter for fans worldwide.
