The hunt is back — and bigger than ever. During today’s Nintendo Direct, Saber Interactive confirmed that Turok: Origins is charging onto Nintendo Switch 2 alongside PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in fall 2026. This marks a bold new chapter for the legendary dino-slaying franchise.
Blending first-person and third-person sci-fi shooter action, Turok: Origins casts players as members of the ancient Order of the Turok — elite warriors battling savage creatures and a terrifying alien force bent on wiping out humanity. Combat is fast, brutal, and flexible, with players able to fight solo or team up in co-op.
A standout twist is the DNA extraction system. Harvest genetic material from fallen enemies and the environment to upgrade weapons, evolve your Turok mantle, and unlock powerful EchoSync abilities that shift the tide of battle.
The arsenal is stacked: plasma rifles, bows, sniper rifles, shotguns, ray guns, and more, alongside melee strikes and special powers.
