If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if a cheerful 1950s theme park took a terrifying detour into horror, Twisted Tower has the answer. The upcoming action-adventure FPS from Atmos Games and 3D Realms launches on Steam on August 18, throwing players into a twisted amusement park packed with deadly traps, creepy mascots, and over-the-top firepower.
Created by Thomas Brush, the mind behind Pinstripe and Neversong, Twisted Tower blends the unsettling atmosphere of BioShock with the nostalgic charm of classic theme parks—before turning everything into a blood-soaked carnival of chaos. Players will fight their way through bizarre locations including a haunted hotel, abandoned waterpark, clown casino, carnival forest, and even a space station, all while uncovering the dark secrets hidden within the tower.
Combat is anything but ordinary. Expect an arsenal of delightfully ridiculous weapons, from a rubber-band pistol and whack-a-mole mallet to a fart-powered shotgun and bubblegum-spewing chain gun. Along the way, collectible toys unlock new movement abilities, letting players dash, grapple, and explore multiple routes through the park for fresh experiences on every playthrough.
If fast-paced FPS action, creepy fairy-tale mascots, and bizarre horror are your kind of thrill ride, Twisted Tower is shaping up to be one of this summer’s most unique releases. Be sure to wishlist it on Steam before the park officially opens its gates on August 18.
