Crimson Moon has officially been unveiled by ProbablyMonsters, introducing a Gothic High Renaissance action-adventure RPG where players embrace angelic fury in a war against hellspawn.
Set in the fallen city of Gildenarch, players step into the role of a Nephilim—half-human, half-angel—and sworn Knight of the Crimson Moon. Tasked with reclaiming the city from the Infernal Legion, players will battle through demons, vampires, and undead gods across dynamic, replayable missions. Each incursion reshapes enemy compositions and level layouts, ensuring no two runs feel the same.
Combat is fast, brutal, and built for mastery. Precision and timing are key as players chain melee strikes with explosive celestial transformations. Divine abilities allow players to control the battlefield, and optional two-player co-op unlocks devastating synergies for those who want to purge evil with a friend.
Between missions, the War Table hub serves as a strategic base for upgrading angelic powers, crafting gear, and planning the next assault. Difficulty modifiers raise the stakes, offering greater rewards for those willing to face harsher trials.
Crimson Moon is rated M for Mature and launches in 2026 on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The reveal trailer debuted during PlayStation’s State of Play showcase, offering a first glimpse at this dark fantasy epic.
