Hard hitting Los Angeles rockers, Thredge, come out swinging on their latest single, “Out Cold”, their 3rd single from their upcoming album, Dreams and Nightmares, due later this year. The distinctive riffs and signature vocals convey the song’s mixed feelings of triumph in defeat.
“The very first note of the song came to be during the time our guitarist, Anthony, was struck with a heavy flu,” recounts Ryan Duswalt (drummer). “After adding multiple elements for its percussive beatdown, our singer Nero brought in his own twist and turned it into a story of glee in loss: Losing the person who tormented you and finally feeling set free.”
“Out Cold” served as a turning point for the band, which shifted their upcoming record’s focus to a colder, darker, sound that evolved into the concept of Dreams and Nightmares. The highly anticipated sophomore release was produced by Mikal Blue, a Grammy-award-winning, multi-platinum-selling music producer, songwriter, engineer, and mixer.
Thredge will be performing songs from the new album live at shows in and around LA through the Summer and beyond. Look out for more new music, videos and behind the scenes content coming soon.
