Vince Vaughn is heading back to Florida’s strangest corners. Apple TV’s acclaimed comedy “Bad Monkey” returns for season two on Wednesday, December 2, 2026, with a brand-new mystery, fresh trouble and plenty of oddballs.

Developed by award-winning storyteller Bill Lawrence, the 10-episode season follows Andrew Yancy (Vaughn) after he witnesses the murder of a notorious fixer. An ambitious state attorney pairs him with a by-the-book forensic accountant, giving Yancy a shot at solving the case—and maybe earning back his detective’s badge.

The investigation quickly gets messy. Rival criminal organizations collide, an erudite mob boss and his unhinged son enter the picture, and Yancy finds himself protecting a young woman caught in the middle. There’s also an environmental battle involving a bombastic animal relocation specialist, plus complications closer to home, including Yancy’s aging father and unresolved feelings for Dr. Rosa Campensino (Natalie Martinez).

Vince Vaughn 'Bad Monkey' Is Back for a Wilder Season Two

Season two reunites Vaughn, Martinez, Charlotte Lawrence and John Ortiz, while adding John Malkovich, Yvonne Strahovski and Zavior Phillips to the mix. A stacked guest cast includes Dax Shepard, Sofia Boutella, Sam Jaeger, Margarita Levieva, Peter Billingsley and June Diane Raphael.

Based on Carl Hiaasen’s bestselling novel and cult favorite, “Bad Monkey” has already earned praise for its sharp writing and standout performances. Season two promises more Florida chaos, more crime and, presumably, more reasons to question everyone involved.

The new season premieres globally on Apple TV on December 2, with a new episode dropping every Wednesday through February 3, 2027. Season one is streaming now.
